The wheel nuts for my alloy wheels need to be re-chromed. The initial quality of the plating wasn't very good and over the years it's flaked off and left a mixture of rust and flaked chrome. I'd like to get them re-chromed, but is there an alternative that is durable and attractive? Perhaps nickel alone? Black oxide would be good, too. -- Phil Barnes (peb3@cornell.edu) Cortland, NY (nowhere near New York City) '71 TR6 CC61193L (27 year owner) |
