Hello, everyone.
My original '59 TR3A adjustable steering wheel has some pretty substantial
cracking of the bakelite. Options are a $200 new wheel, or a $50 used wheel,
also with cracking of uncertain magnitude. Neither are particularly
attractive alternatives, given that the wheel will be under a leather cover
anyway.
So...is there a product tried by any of you that is recommended as a
restorative to stabilize the existing bakelite, keep the wheel solid, and
allow a reasonably comfortable grip?
