Thanks to all who replied regarding my pulley problem. I ended up
solving it by combining a different washer than the one that came with
the pump and having a shop take off a small amount of the front of the
pulley. Those items allow the nut to tighten down to an acceptable
level.

Like I say.........if the new pulley slides on.........very, very
tight..........very tight.........and the groove in the pulley lines up
perfectly with the alternator and crank pulley..............there should
be 5/8" sticking out for your lock nut.........if
not.............something is NOT correct!!!!!!!!
I sometimes think that H2O pumps on TR's pose the most irritating
problems!
