TR-6 Winshield Frame

To my learned colleagues

In disassembling a TR-6 I am having some difficulty in getting at the
bottom nyloc nut inside the tube holding the windshield down. Anyone
have any special tricks??? I have tried sockets but even a deep socket
doesn't seem to get inside the tube enough to remove the nut and there
isnt anything sticking out the bottom of the tube to grab with a
wrench... BLAST!!!
