The ignition light essentially compares the alternator (or generator on cars
so equipped) output voltage to the ignition circuit voltage.  Usually when
it just glows, it means the alternator output is slightly higher than the
ignition circuit voltage, which indicates a bad connection somewhere.  I'd
start by inspecting the main output wire both where it connects to the
alternator, and where it connects to the battery lead.

Those measurements sound OK, clearly the alternator is working.  But don't
ignore the bad connection, as it will get worse and eventually cause no
charging, or possibly even a fire.
