Subject: Install Repro or Rebuilt Fuel Pump

I bought a repro fuel pump as a backup as I was rebuilding the AC pump for
my TR6. Now I'm trying to decide which one should be the backup. I'm not
really confident in my rebuild. In particular, I hit the punch too hard when
I was staking the valves in place. The metal sort of crumbled. They seem to
be in place pretty well but I'm not totally sure I trust them. Any opinions
on the repro? This one came from TRF. It has the priming lever, but the body
of the pump is smaller. Does it flow enough? Is it reliable? Any comments?

Thanks,
Hugh Fader
