Mike,
        I used Duplicolor Truck and Van T229 Silver on the valve cover and oil 
filler 
cap, and the air filter shroud.  It has the correct "warm" silver look, and the 
Duplicolor can has a nice adjustable spray head.  It's not high-temp paint, but 
the 
valve cover doesn't get hot enough to bother the paint.
        On the oil filter can, I used GM blue engine paint.  It appears quite 
close in 
color to the original AC.  Last year I converted to a spin-on filter.  I had 
some left 
over blue, so I painted the NAPA spin on can.  What the heck.
