Brad,
Thanks for being pro-active on this issue and for keeping us in the loop.
Although it's commendable that Senator Florez is consulting with prominent
people in the collector car sector, I would hope that he would also keep in
mind the needs of the less afluent. If I had Jay Leno's money, my attitude
towards investing in new parts, rebuilds, storage, etc. would be quite a bit
different than it is now and I suspect that most people on this list are
more more in my category than Jay's. I am also concerned about the
enforcement of the 12,000 mi/daily driver limitations? Do you have to go get
your speedometer checked once a year?
I plan on forwarding your email and my concerns to my own representatives
just to let them know people care.
Bob

> Thank you for contacting my office and sharing your thoughts on SB708. In
> January of this year, I was appointed Chairman of the Senate Select

> Why have I undertaken this initiative to clean up our air? Air pollutants

> more deaths in the San Joaquin Valley in the last three years than car
> accidents and murders combined. The San Joaquin Valley has surpassed Los
> Angeles as the worst air basin in the state and the second worst in the
> country. The asthma rate for children in Fresno County is the highest in

Unfortunately,

Cars
