I've always been thrilled when driving around the neighborhood at the reaction
kids have. They always stop playing, point, and their heads follow on a
swivel as I pass. Some yell "cool car", and some run a couple of house
lengths alongside. Big smiles abound.
The part I find interesting, is that adults are usually "too cool for school".
It's like they refuse to acknowledge that my 1967 TR4A isn't out of the
ordinary. Very rarely does an adult give a thumbs up, or comment, or even
smile.
Maybe we should hold onto some of our youth. I think the kids get it.
