I always heard that in eastern Europe, for years vodka was cheaper than
windshield washer fluid, so they used that instead. Talk about happy
motoring. Just imagine the reaction of our drinking and driving hysterics if
every car had an opened bottle of Moskovskya in the back seat.

Ya know, after being on this List for as many years as I have, I've come to
the conclusion that you can put absolutely any liquid, of any viscosity, in
the dashpots. Cheap gin? No problem. DOT 5 brake fluid? I recommend it.

I'm going to try using some of that fancy Tahitian mineral water in mine,
if the temperature ever goes above freezing here in central NY.
