Not something I've experienced myself, but about 3-4 years ago I remember
several instances of the 6 cylinder canister adaptors leaking because they were
incorrectly machined rather than poorly cast. We have the same conversion on
our Mk1 2000 without any problem, but that unit was bought about 2 years ago,
so somewhat later,
