Message text written by INTERNET:davidt@opentext.com >It has been there since I plated the car in June but has become more annoying since I put up the soft top. < What colour did you plate it? (works of Click and Clack) Sometimes a whine will be present and not noticed until you do some things that subdues other noise sources or enhances the transmission of the whine. Putting up the soft top is one such thing. Removing the carpet or replacing the exhaust will too. Or maybe the bloom is off the rose and you are starting to notice the warts. When you find out how much it will cost to fix the whine you may decide to live with it. But if it is getting worse then you should fix it before the diff fails altogether.
