Genuine questions asked me by passing British car fans whilst I was 
getting out of my '77 Spit:

"Is that a Ferrari?"

"Is that a Lotus?"

The vast majority of Brits wouldn't know a TR2 (or a Spitfire) if it ran 
them over.
