FWIW, several people have recommended not using Dexcool in older cars.  GM
has supposedly even published a service bulletin, advising not to use it in
1993 and earlier cars, because it can attack solder joints.

Also, although it is indeed dyed orange, the dye is not strong enough to dye
your engine compartment.  More like orange Kool-Aid.
