Oil pressure is not a problem on mine. Two cranks of the engine and she is at 65psi. I too have the spin on adaptor with the anti flow back. In the spitfire it is the case of pull choke, crank engine for 2seconds to start then put choke in. Guess I got use to that behaviour.
