well the gt6 is really coming along. i actually was smiling yesterday. so
today the wife says 'the kids are gone, the sun is shining, take me out to
starbucks for coffee'. after a nice jolt of java and gab we get in 'tina'
(the triumph) and she won't start :((( grrr. have to push the sucker to jump
start her down a hill. first it was the starter moaning to slow, then it was
the water temp almost off the chart. now what ? starter spins like crazy,
water temp low. if i hold the throttle 1/2 way down it almost wants to start,
but doesn't. anything else it just spins without a hint of firing. ideas ???
what to check now ? is there a method to test the voltage getting to the
plugs or do i have to put it on a diagnostic scope (which i do not have) ?
why once i get it started (jump down hill) it runs great ?
thanks, larry, lstein6@earthlink.net
