Well boys, it's about that time of year again here in Canada. Better late
then never... (bloody groundhog). Here's my issue. I've got the Tranny apart
thinking it had locked up preventing the car from starting. Not the case. I
put the starter back in and tested it while the tranny was out and all I get
is a single click. What I want to know is if the starter is pooched, or if
it's the relay (source of the click) that needs replacing. I'm already
relieved that the tranny wasn't the source of the issues but it needed to come
out anyway to separate the clutch after 15 years of sitting still. Basically,
I was just wondering if I needed to replace the starter, if so with what can I
replace it with, or maybe it just needs to be rebuilt. Maybe it's not the
starter at all, and all I need is a relay. If anyone has suggestions on where
I might find those items, it would also be appreciated. Thanks
