My Dad bought a 4A new in 1968.
The problem was that he couldn't quite afford it.
The dealership's solution was to swap disc wheels for the wires that were on
it.

They left the red leather seats in the car though. Dad thought he was lucky
until one day after a rain, they "bleed" all over one of his new suits.

You'd have thought in 1968 they'd be eager to get the 4A's out of there to make
room for the 250's and soon to come TR6s.

I'd ask dad for more on this story, but sadly, he died in '93, so I guess my
story will be a heresay testimony.

By the way . . anyone know of a dentist in Chattanooga with a bunch of Triumphs
in his back yard?
That's where my dad's 4A went after an accident in the mid to late 70's.
