In UK nearly all basic British cars had the heater charged for as an
optional extra. This was the case way into the 70s until the Japanese
imports gave you everything at no extra cost. Stupid marketing policy on
British cars really considering our s***** weather.
As for the Hawaii car is the weather not hot and dry, who needs a heater?
