Adrian,

As far as I know... there is the metal 4-blade fan in sort of an
X blade configuration... the 6-blade metal "tropical" fan and the
yellow plastic 8-blade fan.

The yellow 8-blade is available new from TRF in the US.  It is
the same fan used on the TR 250/5.

All the fans attach with four bolts and rubber isolators to a
front pulley extension.  The pulley is attached to the rear of
the extension.  Check the exploded parts diagrams in the workshop
manual.  The extensions are of different lengths for the TR3,
TR4/A metal fans and the plastic fan on the late TR4A.

For instance... to retrofit the 8-blade plastic fan on the TR4
you need the shorter extension and crank end bolt from a TR3
