Good for "ballpark" information; unfortunately, it doesn't take into account the variance in size amongst different brands of tire in a given size or even within a given brand's various lines of tires. IF you really want to keep changes in rolling circumference to a minimum, it's still best to get the spec's for the specific tires. Tire Rack is great about this < www.tirerack.com> as is Coker Tire <www.coker.com>, where I found the spec's on the 185R15 Michelin Redline. Most tire manufacturers' web sites also provide this information. --Andy Andrew Mace, President and 10/Herald/Vitesse (Sports 6) Vehicle Consultant The Vintage Triumph Register <www.vtr.org> /// triumphs@autox.team.net mailing list /// To unsubscribe send a plain text message to majordomo@autox.team.net /// with nothing in it but /// /// unsubscribe triumphs /// |
