I'd venture a guess that your TR6 will go a tad faster than 75...
That being said, You may find it hard to overcome 30 some years of
development... I just marvel that my Eclipse turbo has the same size
engine as my TR4 and cranks out <200 HP, while my "Improved" TR4 may
come in around 120HP.
It was a real eye-opener when the guy with the Suzuki Swift turbo was
bumped into my class (D Street Prepared) in an autocross a few years
back... He beat the pee outa me too!
I was in the DC area and a memebr of the government employees sports
car club, back at the end of the sixties. I continued to get the club
newsletter for a number of years later... You could tell when the VW
Rabbit became available. The FTD auto cross winners went from TR250's
Heishmann "Stingers" (hotted up VW Beetles) and Alfas to Rabbits the
very next week...
Greg Petrolati Champaign, Illinois 1962 TR4 (CT4852L)
That's not a leak... My car's just marking its territory...
