The TR4A has a fly-off, standard.

My physics teacher, when explaining the difference between rolling
friction and sliding friction, said "they call it an emergency 
brake because, if you ever use it while moving, you'll cause
an emergency!". Despite that, I drove most of the way from St.
Louis to Asheville, NC with nothing but the handbrake in John
Lye's TR3A ... leaky rear union, it turns out.

Exciting trip, that.
