Dave,
The TR3 hand brake is backwards when compared to others.
You push the button (after you have pulled the handle back to the correct
location) to lock the brake. you merly pull the handle back slightly beyond
where you set it and let it go. Don't touch the button and it will release.
Don't worry lots of people make this mistake and after you get used to it
you'll think they all ought to work this way.
