My experience has been that some people love DOT-5, some people hate it.
Those who hate it seem to make up all sorts of unsubstantiated stories about
why it's evil ...

IMO, not only does it not "disagree" with brake boosters, using DOT-5 will
actually limit the damage done to the booster if the master cylinder happens
to start leaking fluid into the booster.  Which BTW is the only time the
fluif even comes in contact with the booster ...

My LBC doesn't happen to have a booster, but I've used DOT-5 for many years
in other vehicles with boosters, no problem.
