Fuse ratings for TR3A

A while back there was a thread giving the US amp fuse rating compared to the 
Lucas fuse rating.  Something about the rating system has the Lucas fuses 
blow at the rated amp or less and the US fuses are good for the rated amp or 
more, or just the opposite, I don't quite remember.  

he manual calls for a 50 amp and a 35 amp fuse for my 59 TR3A.  What would 
the equivilant US fuse rating need to be?
