crank nose), so had to make a clamp piece that wound up being roughly 1/4" thick, and switched to a 1.5" bolt. Adding shims between the hub and timing chain sprocket might be another way to solve the problem, but I didn't think of it at the time. What I did was have a metal plate made the fit the recess of the crank pulley hub, six outer holes, one large 5/8, center and it was also 1/4 inch thick, used a 5/8 x 18 x 1.5 bolt from OSH with washer and lockwasher...works just fine. -- Bill Pugh aka Wily 1957 TR-3 aka Casper TS16765L /// /// triumphs@autox.team.net mailing list /// |
