The chart I got from McMaster-Carr says that neoprene is a poor choice. 
Viton is probably what you want, although Kalrez and maybe Teflon would
also work (at a higher price).  MMC carries a wide assortment of O-rings
in many different materials (although they aren't cheap).  Check them
out at http://www.mcmaster.com/ .  Unlike many other industrial supply
houses, MMC has no minimum order.  Another on-line source I've never
tried is http://www.bcssia.com/pg24.htm .  NFI, etc.

Any in-line filter should be fine.  Earlier TRs use a 5/16" line, but
I'm not sure about the wedges.
