It is a mistake to think that logic prevails in corporate decisions. Why
now? I don't know but perhaps it is for face saving purposes. Some
embattled board member could mount a defense like "Yeah, we did loose
money on the Rovewr deal but at least we still have the Mini and these
trademarks."
We can still hope but then would a BMW badged as a Triumph be faithfull to
the bloodline?
