Phil,
My dimensions are for the TR3 but I think I can talk you through figuring
the dimensions assuming you have a soft top already set up for your car.
There are only two adjustments possible, the distance between the rear
stick and the rear scuttle and the middle stck in relation to the rear
stick.
The hood has seams corresponding to the hood stick location. The front
stick is spaced by the mechanics of it's attachment.
If you remove the clamps on the rearstick you can adjust the sticks.
Erect the top then slide the sticks so that they fit into the hood seam
"pockets" and the top is tight. You can increase hood tightness by
decreasing the distance between the rear sick and the rear scuttle. Once
every thing is in place measure the distances. THose become the
measurments for your car using your top.
When you first mount the new webbing and hood, do not cut off the excess
webbing at the rear just yet. Keep the top erected for a few days to
allow the tension to stretch everything. Remove and replace the hood.
Check the alignment one last time then go ahead and cut off the excess at
the back.
As far as the wheels are concerned, it is a shame we do not live close to
each other. I would probably have loaned you the wheels if you would
either rechrome or replace the center sections. They are just taking up
space untill I get around to purchasing a TR4 or 250 to put them under
but no one would want to pay what I would want for them.
Take care
