I have a set of high performance Tappets in my TR-6 which came from British
Frame & Engine. The rims are little taller than the stock tappets and they
have no oil drain hole. I'm told that this batch was originally made to
exacting specifications for an Alfa-Romeo race team. They fit right in- no
machining required. I've got about 6000 miles on my and I haven't seen any
evidence of premature wear despite my .440/310 camshaft.
