Jim, I have a 55 T-Bird and used the same pulley & strap set-up the way you mention, one big mistake I made was using fiberglass straps, in the heat of summer it left the strap impression melted into the roof on both sides, this would not have happened if I had purchased cloth or someother type material that was not affected by the heat. Just another thought on storing a top in a hot climate. "FT" |
