Rich,

I bought the ready made battery box from Moss or TRF for my TR3. When
I went to mount it I found that the battery hold down brackets really
thin and "tinny". The sides with the hold down brackets on the
original one were better than the new one. So Randy and I just cut the
sides off of the new one and the bottom and back out of the old one in
the fire wall. Had the new one welded in and it looks very original.

Works for me!
