Ken,

It has been a while since I have worked on a front suspension. I made my own
spring compressor and I am sure it works just the same as the one from TRF.

So far so good. If I remember correctly you should be able now remove the spring
pan with the spring to follow. The spring pan studs may be binding. Maybe a
little prying of the pan is in order. Once the pan is off, the spring is sure to
follow. Make sure the is 0 spring tension.
