Mark,
Go buy the landcruiser TOB, show it to your car so that it knows you've
paid out good money for it and THEN try putting a few hundred miles on
the TOB that's in there. If indeed it's the TOB then I don't think you
have anything to lose, except maybe your hearing. It might be a little
piece of dirt, gravel, debris, in the TOB that MIGHT get ground up,
thrown out, or otherwise resolve itself with a little driving. If it's
a bad TOB then it'll probably keep squealing but at least you'll know
you have the replacement sitting right there when you can't stand the
noise any longer. Keep the receipt just in case you luck out. And just
think how much faster it'll go now that you've done it once.
