Carefull there. If the screeching is caused by the pressure plate spinning
against a seized TOB, the pressure plate could be damaged. What happens in
this senario is the TOB cuts grooves in the spring fingers. At best, this
reduces the life of the pressure plate spring. At worst, this can cause
catastrophic clutch failure when one of the spring fingers breaks off.
