1/8" should be okay. As Dave noted, toe-in is not what centers the car but
I'll add that lack of it will make the TR want to go anywhere but straight.
It's pretty basic, but you might check your tire pressure if you haven't done
do lately. I like 32F 36R but expect others' preferences will vary widely. To
address weaving the key thing about tire pressure is probably that each side is
equal, though it seems to me that higher pressure would increase the toe-in
effect.
Beyond that I would be looking for a loose steering component (eg silent bloc).
