>Dave,
According to Piggott (and confirmed by STANPART spare parts catalogue):
Lucas Type CRT15 wiper motor (always mounted on the right hand side) was
installed on TR2 and TR3 up to TS12567. This one apparently has only two
terminals.
Lucas Type DR2 (always mounted on left side) was post TS12567. This one
had
the parking switch which looked like a can with an electrical wire on the
top
of the wiper gear housing. This is the one with the terminals #1, #2, and
E.
According to Piggott, you should have the newer wiper motor. Possibly you
have the newer one, but the parking function doesn't work correctly on
yours?

I have the newer motor, allright, and the parking feature may not work
right. But it is more likely that the PO didn't understand wiper wiring and
rewired it the way it is.

He/she should have waited for Dan Master's book on electrical systems (soon
to come out). (shameless plug)

Dave
