Hi Ken
Have you done 500 Miles yet? If you have it is time to retorque the head
unless you Know it was done before the car was taken off the road, the head
wants to be around the hand hot region of temp when you adjust the valves,
some people who have more experience than I have said that ten minutes is
sufficient as the high temperature will have dissipated from the valves. I
still go by the hand hot or cooler rule!
