TeRiffic LisTeRs:

While in the course of my career, I have been competent with and functioned
as a 20th Century Electronic Technology Professional, I guess I am still
'21st Century' electronic technology culturally deprived', in as much as I
have, not as yet, a website (or do I really have another 8 months to avoid
this nomenclature).

Therefore, I have prepared 12 (twelve) E-mail mesages, each containing 4-11
JPEG images, of the past three years of 'THE TRIUMPH's restoration. A
number of friends and aficianado colleagues have encouraged me to assemble
this format from a total of more than 150 JPEGS and traditional photographs
(scanned).

Should anyone be interested, I would be happy to send them out as a
mini-series-so as not to 'overwhelm' anyone's computer. The desciption I
sent Dan Buettner of the restoration is:

CT40054L probably manufactured in late '64, I'm sure someone could figure
out
Owned since Dec 1968.

Current description: Car has emerged from an extensive three year frame up
restoration, which included: cleaning and detailing of the frame and engine
bay. New floorboards, rocker sills, and the manufacture of the 'A' footwell
panels as well as a new battery shelf were involved. Drivetrain wise, the
cylinder head has been upgraded to contemporary non-lead valves/guides, the
engine detailed, and most importantly, she runs beautifully again. The car
has several major improvements: new dash, windshield, weather-stripping, a
complete new interior, carpeting, and leather upholstery kits on the
detailed later TR high back/headrest seat frame, Minilight wheels, new
wiring harness, and new top. All of my instruments are original, as is the
steering wheel, and the self-rebuilt wiper motor. My present project is
adding actual Vintage Road Lamps to the vintage racer style exterior, as
well as a 'Camellia Rallye' plaque, in honor of my wife, which is modeled
after the famous '64 Rallye sticker . I really like the clean look which in
its new aircraft quality 'Iridescent Concord Blue Metallic', really
accentuates the wonderful Triumph performance style.

For those of you who might be interested in a certain phase of the
restoration, the E-mail titles, reflecting subject images, are as follow:
E-0 Disasembly
E-1 Open Body Surgery
E-2 Welding Left Side Floorboards/Sills

'package' @8.2 MB or individual E-mails on a daily, twice weekly, or weekly
basis, I'm happy to share!
