I take it your having the same problem I am.  I am told that the two ends of 
the short strip are to slip on to either side of the chrome piece.  Of course 
that impossible inthat the piece is to short, but I know what you mean, how 
the heck do the adhere to each other.  

So many people have responded that the short strips shrink, are we sure the 
darn car didn't expand?....Virgil 75 TR6
