Luggage racks

One more question (for the moment):  I would like to buy a luggage rack for
my '61 TR-3A.  I think I would prefer the type that attaches to the trunk
hinges, and hooks over the rear trunk edge.  The big three all sell luggage
racks.  Any opinion as to which is the best?  Also, how much clearance is
required between the rear of the trunk lid and the lip on the rear apron to
accommodate the rear hooks?  My car was rear-ended (DPO), and there is not
much of a gap left.
