Bob, I like the lever shocks and the tube conversion is expensive and not all that easy to do. A larger front sway with an added rear bar would make a big difference, but also expensive and installing the rear bar can be a bitch. I use competition springs they are about 25% stiffer and lower the car about one inch. The springs make a major difference in cornering, cost about $200 for a set of four and are not all that difficult to install. Yes, the ride is harsher but in my opinion not uncomfortably so and flat cornering at high speed is not a problem. John, '71 TR6 Berkeley Springs, WV |
