This indeed would be about a 1965 (build year and probably model year as
well) Herald convertible -- possibly badged as a "Sports 1200". That
suffix should be LCV, by the way, L for left hand drive and CV for
convertible.

Tough to say without seeing the car, but *top* condition Herald
convertibles might just bring $3500-4500 in the US.

Actually, very available. There is much mechanical, electrical and hydraulic
interchange with early Spitfires, and much of the rest (if available at
all, and a surprising amount is, even trim) can be found from any number
of vendors in England, Rimmer and John Kipping to name but a few.
