No idea on your TR2 numbers question.
Many, many years ago, I had a pre-60000 '58/'59 TR3A from Ottawa,
Ontario which did not have any additional single digit prefix either.
Perhaps this feature was started in '60?? So, I doubt if your TR2 would
have one either.
