TR6 License plate holder question

I hope someone knows the answer to this. 

My car is an early 74 TR6. Do cars of this vintage have the front license
plate holder on them along with the two reinforcement rods and those two
brackets on the radiator skid plate? 

I don't remember my car having those two brackets on the skid plate, so I
am wondering how the license plates are held on. I could check on it
myself, but my car is pretty much in boxes and I can't find the right one!
