Because it is a wet liner engine, everyone on the list knows well the ease
with which the TR2-4 engine can be rebuilt. Just pop out the sleeves and
press new ones in place. My question is, what other cars used a wet liner
design? It is well known in the TR2-4 world but it wasn't even widely used
by Triumph--Spitfires and GT6s don't have wet sleeve engines. Just curious.

The new V-8 engine used in the Lotus uses iron sleeves in an aluminum block.
