After being pretty thoroughly sun-and wind-burned during the first couple
days' ride from NY/New England to Ft. Worth, TX, in 1997 (for the VTR
Convention), it was nice to ride with the top UP and the side and rear
windows open. It kept the air moving about nicely, despite the heat, and
it kept the sun off of us weary travelers. (Hi, Bob!)
So that's one condition....
