Thanks for your reply. I'm at work right now, and I'm not sure of the exact
size. The early Vitesse speedo is larger than the speedo/rev counters fitted
to Spitfires and GT6s. It incorporates a (seperate) fuel gauge in the 5
o'clock to 7 o'clock position. It has a main beam light at the 9 o'clock
position, oil light at the 12 o'clock position and ignition warning light at
the 3 o'clock position.

I spoke with Mick Dolphin at The Stafford International. Mick deals with
'new old stock', and he says they are pretty rare.

Does my more detailed description of the speedo help anyone ?

Craig,
Is it possible that the Speedo you need is also used on some early
Spitfires?  I have a couple of older Jaeger Speedos that might help you
out if you have any specifics.  Or could it be that the gauge is larger
on the Herald/Vitesse.  I seem to recall that it was.
