Radio Selection for TR4A

As the header says, I want to fit a radio in my 4A.  I have not noticed any 
readily
available units which fit the cut out in the dash support.

What is the experience of the list on new radios to fit?  Since the car
is pretty noisy, I am not looking for a high end radio (hopefully).

What about speakers?  WHere to put them without major damage to the 
"originality"
